Imagine this: a group of adventurous, fun-loving girls coming together in one of Europe’s most beautiful cities for five days of music, culture, and unforgettable memories. This summer, we’re heading to Budapest for an epic girls trip that includes three days at Sziget Festival, one of the biggest and most iconic festivals in Europe.

Between river cruises, thermal baths, sightseeing, and dancing under the stars to artists like Charlie XCX, I Hate Models & 999999999, this trip is all about connection, adventure, and saying yes to something a little out of your comfort zone—but not alone!

After hosting multiple sold-out girls trips in Berlin, we’re bringing the magic to Budapest for the first time—and with spots already filling fast, this is your sign to join us. See you in Budapest!

ITINERARY

Touch down in Budapest and check into our hotel at 3:00pm, right along the Danube in my favorite part of Budapest. Our stay is right in the heart of the city—perfect for exploring, people-watching, and late-night snack runs. If you arrive early, no problem—there’s luggage storage to kick off your adventure without stress.

After dropping your bags and meeting your new festival crew, we’ll kick things off with a golden hour Prosecco river cruise along the Danube. Nothing says “hello, Budapest” like seeing the city's most beautiful sights by water with a drink in hand.

We’ll follow it up with dinner at food trucks and some ruin bar hopping—these iconic bars are built inside abandoned buildings and they’re unlike anything else in the world.

Start your morning slow and treat yourself to some chill time at one of Budapest’s famous thermal baths. Think warm mineral pools, beautiful architecture, and allll the recovery vibes before the hard partying begins.

Then it’s time to get into festival mode: glam up, throw on your first fest fit, and head to Sziget Festival for Day 1! Expect huge sets, immersive art, and an unreal atmosphere as the island lights up with music and magic.

After a chill morning, we’ll explore District V—home to Budapest’s grand Basilica, riverside views, and postcard-perfect streets. Then we’ll head up to Fisherman’s Bastion and Matthias Church for epic city views and dreamy photos.

In the afternoon, we’ll gear up for Sziget Day 2! From massive stages to hidden corners, there’s always something new to discover. Grab your glitter and get ready for another unforgettable night.

Sleep in, recover, and enjoy a slow morning—you’ve earned it.

In the afternoon, we’ll head to Margit Island for a cute, relaxed group picnic. We’ll soak up the sun, chill before our final fest night, and dabble in drinking games before our final night of Sziget.

Then it’s time for Sziget Day 3! Tonight’s your chance to go all out one last time with your new rave fam.

Sadly, all good things must come to an end... Check-out is at 11:00 AM—but you'll likely have an option to extend it to 2:00 PM (details to come closer to the trip).

You’ll have the morning to sleep in, grab brunch, and hug your trip mates goodbye. This trip may be wrapping up but these new friendships are just getting started.

If your departure is later in the day, don’t worry—the hotel offers luggage storage, so feel free to squeeze in some last-minute exploring of Budapest before you head to the airport or train station.

ABOUT ME

Hi! I’m Mads—a 25-year-old Texan with a big love for travel, raving, and creating unforgettable experiences.

My passion for exploring the world started in college when I studied abroad in Budapest. That trip completely changed my life—and I’ve been chasing new adventures ever since. Along the way, I realized how many girls dream of traveling the world but feel a little intimidated doing it alone. So, I started creating the kind of trips I wish I had back then: safe, fun, and full of connection.

So far, I’ve hosted four amazing girls’ trips in Berlin for solo female travelers and launched Girls Who Rave—a growing community for women who love electronic music, underground parties, and rave culture.

Now, I’m beyond excited to invite you to Budapest, the city that sparked it all for me. After attending Sziget Festival solo in 2023, I knew I had to come back—with friends this time. This city holds such a special place in my heart and has been my second home for the last 5 years, and I can't wait to show you why.

I’ve been to festivals and raves all over the world, but Sziget truly stands out—it’s vibrant, wild, and full of magic. Trust me, you’re in for something unforgettable.

Check-in at the hostel begins in the afternoon, so it's best to arrive in Budapest before 4pm to ensure you don’t miss out on any of the fun. One of our first activities will be a boat cruise at ~5-8pm.

Check-out is at 11am on August 9th. For those flying out, it's ideal to book a flight departing after 12pm to give you enough time to sleep in after the last night of the festival and say goodbye to the group.

Budapest Airport is conveniently located just a 20-30 minute direct ride (100E bus) from our hotel.

We get it—plans change. While we hope you’ll be joining us in Budapest, here’s everything you need to know about cancellations and refunds:

Cancel 90+ days before the trip (by May 7, 2025) → Full refund, minus a small service fee to cover card processing.
Cancel 60–89 days before the trip → 70% refund, to help cover the cost of your Sziget ticket (which is purchased in advance).
Cancel 30–59 days before the trip → 50% refund.
Cancel less than 30 days before the trip → Non-refundable, unless you find a replacement to fill your spot.
