Booking Policy for Group Trips

1. Introduction

​

Welcome to Mads Abroad. By booking a trip with us, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

2. Booking and Payment

​

• Reservation: Your spot on the trip is confirmed only after full payment is received.

• Payment Methods: We accept all major credit and debit cards. Payments are processed through a secure payment gateway.

• Confirmation: Upon successful booking, you will receive a confirmation email with trip details.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

​

BERLIN TRIPS

​

• Full Refund: Cancellations made 60 days or more before the trip start date are eligible for a full refund, less a small service fee to cover card processing.

• 50% Refund: Cancellations made between 45 and 59 days before the trip start date are eligible for a 50% refund, less the service fee.

• Non-Refundable: Cancellations made less than 45 days before the trip start date are non-refundable unless a replacement is found. If a replacement is found, a full refund will be issued, less the service fee.

• Service Fee: All refunds are subject to a small service fee to cover card processing costs.

SZIGET FESTIVAL TRIP

​

• Cancel 90+ days before the trip (by May 7, 2025) → Full refund, minus a small service fee to cover card processing.

• Cancel 60–89 days before the trip → 70% refund, to help cover the cost of your Sziget ticket (which is purchased in advance).

• Cancel 45–59 days before the trip → 50% refund.

• Cancel less than 45 days before the trip → Non-refundable, as all major expenses will have already been paid.

4. Travel Requirements

​

• Passports and Visas: It is your responsibility to ensure that you have a valid passport and any necessary visas for entry into Germany or Hungary.

• Health and Safety: Please check and comply with any health advisories or vaccination requirements for travel to Germany or Hungary.

5. Itinerary Changes

​

• Adjustments: While we strive to adhere to the published itinerary, we reserve the right to make changes if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances. Any significant changes will be communicated promptly.

6. Liability

​

• Personal Responsibility: You acknowledge that travel involves inherent risks. Mads Abroad is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage incurred during the trip.

• Third-Party Services: We may use third-party services for transportation, accommodation, and activities. We are not responsible for any issues arising from their services but will assist in resolving any problems

• You are fully liable for damages to property (hostel, restaurants, bars, etc) or loss of the metro ticket

7. Code of Conduct

​

• Behavior: All participants are expected to behave respectfully and follow the instructions of the trip leader. We reserve the right to remove any participant who engages in disruptive or harmful behavior, without refund.

• Alcohol and Substances: Responsible consumption of alcohol is allowed. Illegal substances are strictly prohibited.

• Clubbing in Berlin is at your own risk and the group trip organizers do not support or condone the use of any illegal substances.

8. Media Release

​

• Photography and Videography: By participating in the trip, you grant Mads Abroad permission to use any photographs or videos taken during the trip for promotional purposes.

9. Privacy Policy

​

• Data Protection: We are committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for the purpose of managing your trip and will not be shared with third parties, except as necessary for trip arrangements.

10. Dispute Resolution

​

• Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Texas, United States.

• Disputes: Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be resolved through mediation or arbitration in Texas, United States.
